Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Spotify to strengthen collaboration across the music and wider creative sectors, marking a first-of-its-kind public–private partnership in the emirate. The agreement aims to expand opportunities for emerging musicians and local talent by supporting their development, increasing their visibility on global platforms, and fostering creative expression as a core part of Dubai’s creative economy.
Under the MoU, both organizations will co-deliver programmes and initiatives that provide practical support, professional development and access to specialized data and resources, helping artists build sustainable careers. The partnership also includes collaborative cultural projects that spotlight Dubai’s creative community, aligning with the emirate’s vision to reinforce its position as a global hub for culture, creativity and innovation.
