Dubai’s Museum of the Future has received more than 20,000 applications for its new “Future Perfects” recruitment drive within just 48 hours. The campaign website also attracted around 42,000 visits during the same period. The museum is looking for people to join its Visitor Experience team ahead of its reopening in 2027, where they will help guests explore ideas around science, technology, nature, society and the future.

Rather than requiring previous museum or customer-service experience, the roles focus on qualities including curiosity, imagination, emotional intelligence, warmth and adaptability. The museum says it wants to recognise potential beyond what appears on a traditional CV, with successful candidates expected to use conversation and storytelling to make complex ideas accessible and engaging for visitors.
Applications are now being reviewed, with candidates progressing through assessments and shortlisting before selected applicants take part in live auditions in front of an expert judging panel. Applications remain open until November 8, as the Museum of the Future prepares a completely refreshed visitor experience for its planned 2027 reopening and fifth anniversary.
