UAE Residents Can Now Visit Montenegro Visa-Free This Summer

UAE residents are now eligible to visit Montenegro without a visa for stays of up to 10 days, under a seasonal measure introduced by the Montenegrin government. The visa-free entry is available until October 1, 2026, giving eligible residents an easier way to explore the Balkan nation during the summer travel season.

To qualify, travellers must hold a foreign passport with a valid UAE residence permit that has been valid for at least three years, have a passport valid for at least three months beyond their stay, and possess proof of accommodation, sufficient funds and travel insurance. They must also arrive on a direct flight or as part of an organised tour. The exemption applies only to tourism and short stays, with visitors allowed to remain in the country for a maximum of 10 days.
