Shakira Flashmob at Dubai's Mall of the Emirates

Shoppers at Dubai's Mall of the Emirates were caught by surprise this week when a flashmob broke out in celebration of Shakira and Burna Boy's latest collaboration, Dai Dai. The performance, organised in partnership with the mall, featured 40 dancers who entertained crowds with a choreographed routine inspired by some of Shakira's biggest hits.

The performance began with the 2010 FIFA World Cup anthem Waka Waka, before transitioning into the global hit Hips Don't Lie. The dancers then finished with Dai Dai, Shakira's latest single with Burna Boy, inviting shoppers of all ages to join in for the finale. The routine quickly attracted large crowds, with many spectators filming and sharing the moment on social media.

According to organisers, the flashmob was inspired by the uplifting message behind Dai Dai, celebrating unity, connection and bringing people together through music. The surprise performance aimed to transform those themes into a real-life experience, creating a memorable moment for visitors at one of Dubai's busiest shopping destinations.
