Petrol prices in the UAE are set to increase across all categories from October 1, with the latest rise coming as global oil prices continue to climb. The new rates mark another monthly increase after prices also went up in August and September.
The increase means motorists will pay more at the pump next month, with Super 98 rising to Dh4.40 per litre, Special 95 to Dh4.28 and E-Plus 91 to Dh4.21. Diesel will also increase to Dh4.80 per litre.
The UAE reviews fuel prices each month based on global oil market movements, meaning rates can change depending on conditions in international energy markets. Brent crude was trading at around $107 a barrel this week, contributing to the latest increase.
