New Music Friday: Dove Cameron teases her new album

There’s plenty of new music landing on Channel 4 this week, with Dove Cameron bringing a little Italian romance, Becky Hill getting us ready for the dancefloor, and Marshmello and ILLENIUM joining forces for an emotional electronic collaboration. Plus, LISA’s latest is making serious noise.

Dove Cameron takes us to “When In Rome”, the latest taste of her upcoming debut full-length album. The track sees the singer embracing a romantic, dreamy side, with the accompanying video filmed around Rome. It’s pop with a little European holiday energy thrown in, which feels pretty perfect for the last stretch of summer.

Then there’s Becky Hill with “Changes”, a high-energy track that blends her huge vocals with electronic production, punchy beats and plenty of dancefloor-ready attitude. Released ahead of her upcoming album REBECCA, it’s another reminder of why Hill has become one of the UK's biggest voices in dance-pop.

While you're in the dance vibe, Marshmello, ILLENIUM and Sacha have teamed up on “Close My Eyes”. The collaboration brings together Marshmello and ILLENIUM’s signature electronic sounds with Sacha’s vocals for a track that leans into the more emotional side of dance music. It’s the kind of one that could work just as well with the volume up in the car as it does on a late-night playlist.

And LISA continues to make waves with “SAWADIKA”, bringing her unmistakable K-pop energy to a track that has been gaining plenty of attention since its release. With its distinctive sound and LISA’s instantly recognisable delivery, it’s already proving difficult to ignore.
