Etihad Rail Launches Dh10 Shuttle Buses

Etihad Rail has introduced a Dh10 shuttle bus service to help passengers travel to and from its Mohammed Bin Zayed City station in Abu Dhabi. The buses connect the station with three key locations across the capital, ADNOC Headquarters, ADNEC Centre and Reem Mall, making it easier for travellers to complete the first and last leg of their journey. Tickets can be booked through the Etihad Rail app or website.

The shuttle buses are timed to coincide with train departures and arrivals. Services from ADNOC Headquarters and Reem Mall leave at 7.04am, 12.38pm and 5.24pm, while buses from ADNEC Centre depart at 7.29am, 1.03pm and 5.49pm. Journey times range from around 30 to 50 minutes, depending on the route, with return buses departing the station after trains arrive.

The shuttle service forms part of Etihad Rail’s wider effort to improve “first and last mile” connectivity as the UAE’s passenger rail network begins operations. In addition to the buses, passengers can also access taxis, ride-hailing services and rental cars, with more transport links expected to be added as the network expands across the country.
