His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has reviewed a major Dh3 billion coastal development plan aimed at transforming Dubai’s beaches into world-class destinations. The project is part of the emirate’s wider push to enhance tourism, lifestyle, and urban infrastructure, with a focus on creating more attractive, accessible, and high-quality beachfront areas for residents and visitors. Officials say development will continue at a fast pace, reinforcing Dubai’s long-term growth strategy.

The plan includes upgrading beach facilities, expanding recreational spaces, and introducing new amenities to boost visitor experiences. It builds on Dubai’s broader vision to significantly extend and improve its coastline, supporting tourism and quality of life while positioning the city as a leading global beach destination. Leaders emphasised that the coming phase of development will be even more ambitious, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and creating iconic coastal attractions.
