Several innovative technology projects were revealed on the first day of GITEX on October 6 at Dubai World Trade Center.
Dubai Transport Corporation (DTC) and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced a new service where Dubai residents will now be able to rent personal drivers to drive their cars around the emirate.
Thay can access this service through a free-to-download “DTC” app which will be launched by the end of October.
The drivers can be hired for 40 Dhs per hour making it a minimum charge of 80 Dhs for two hours.
These services can be used in emergencies, when residents are too tired and when resident family drivers are on leave or away.
Now you can commute around the city safe and stress-free.
