Dubai has been announced as one of the 10 cities to host for the Global Goal Live: the possible Dream event, which will be one of the largest broadcast events in history.
The event is a 10-hour, six-continent telecast on Saturday, September 26, organized by international advocacy organization Global Citizen, and will call on governments, philanthropists and the private sector to provide the $350 billion (Dh1.28 trillion) needed annually to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. These goals include ending extreme poverty, reducing income equality and tackling climate change.
