Earlier this week Abdo from the Morning Show on 104.8 Channel 4 was lucky enough to head along to the premiere of Michael. He absolutely loved it by the way! However he did notice one very important person missing from the movie. Janet Jackson chose not to be portrayed in the Michael Jackson biopic “Michael,” according to her sister La Toya Jackson. Speaking at the film’s premiere, La Toya explained that Janet was invited to be part of the project but politely declined and asked not to be included. The filmmakers respected her decision, despite her significant role in Michael’s life and career.
The film still features several members of the Jackson family, but Janet’s absence has stood out to fans. Director Antoine Fuqua supported her decision, emphasising respect for her wishes while noting she remains supportive of the project and of her nephew, who plays Michael.
