UAE Releases Official Public School Uniform Guide for 2026-27

With just weeks to go before the new school year begins on August 31, the UAE Ministry of Education has released its official school uniform guide for the 2026-27 academic year. The guide outlines the approved uniforms for government school students from kindergarten to Grade 12, complete with illustrations, item prices and details of where families can purchase them.

The ministry says the updated uniforms have been designed to reflect the UAE's national and educational values while remaining practical and comfortable for students of all ages. The guide is intended to provide parents and schools with a single reference point, helping to avoid confusion and ensure students arrive in the correct uniform on the first day of term.

Parents will be able to buy the official uniforms at approved LuLu Hypermarket branches across the UAE, as well as designated outlets serving more remote communities. The release of the guide is part of the final preparations for the new academic year, which will run until July 2, 2027, with winter and spring breaks already scheduled in the ministry's academic calendar.
