UAE Unveils World’s First Fully Integrated AI-Powered Judicial Platform

The UAE has launched what it says is the world's first fully integrated AI-powered judicial platform, marking a major step forward in the country's digital transformation. Announcing the initiative, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan said the platform reflects the UAE's commitment to using innovation to build a faster, more efficient justice system while reinforcing its position as a global leader in government and judicial excellence.

The new platform is designed to streamline court procedures by using artificial intelligence to analyse case files and legal documents, provide instant access to legislation, retrieve judicial precedents and generate legal recommendations and analytical reports. It can also assist with drafting legal memoranda and judicial documents, helping to speed up legal research and administrative processes.

Despite its advanced capabilities, UAE officials stressed that AI will only serve as a support tool, with final judicial decisions remaining entirely in the hands of judges under full human oversight. The initiative aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy and accessibility of the justice system while preserving judicial independence and ensuring human judgement remains at the heart of every legal ruling.
