Ajman has announced an ambitious Dh1.8 billion development programme that will deliver 30 major projects over the next five years, aimed at improving roads, expanding green spaces and creating a more sustainable, family-friendly emirate. Launched by Crown Prince Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the AM30x30 agenda supports the goals of Ajman Vision 2030 and includes upgrades to transport infrastructure, public facilities and community spaces.
The programme is divided into five key areas, with projects including new and upgraded roads, pedestrian bridges, expanded cycling tracks, neighbourhood road improvements and the creation of around 330,000 square metres of parks and green spaces. The plan also includes new walkways, stormwater drainage systems and landscaping projects across the emirate, with the aim of easing congestion, encouraging sustainable transport and enhancing residents’ quality of life. Officials say road construction will increase by 43% and the cycling network by 33% between 2026 and 2030 compared with the previous five-year period.
