Flights to USA cancelled amid winter storm

Emirates Airline has cancelled and rescheduled multiple flights between Dubai and the United States after a powerful Nor’easter winter storm, forecast to bring heavy snow, strong winds and blizzard conditions — moved up the US East Coast toward cities like New York, Newark and Boston. Flights such as EK203 (Dubai → New York) and EK204 (New York → Dubai) were among those cancelled, while others were retimed to adjust for expected disruptions and to keep passengers safe. The airline has advised passengers affected by changes to check their flight status, update contact details for updates and work with travel agents or the airline for rebooking or refunds.

The severe weather has prompted widespread travel issues across the region, with authorities issuing blizzard warnings and travel restrictions as snowfall of up to about two feet is forecast in some areas, potentially leading to airport closures and hazardous conditions. UAE-based carriers like Etihad Airways and Air India have also adjusted or cancelled US-bound flights amid the storm, urging travelers to stay informed about ongoing schedule changes as conditions evolve and prioritizing passenger safety.
