The National Centre of Meteorology says the UAE will remain under the influence of a low-pressure system this week, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a continued chance of rainfall, especially over coastal and northern areas. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, occasionally strengthening and stirring dust, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman may become moderate to rough at times. The unsettled weather, including scattered showers and gusts, is forecast through mid-week, with temperatures beginning to cool by Friday and rain chances persisting in scattered areas.
Forecasters also warn residents to stay alert for periods of heavier rain and stronger winds later in the week, with dust and reduced visibility possible during active wind periods. Safety advisories have been highlighted as conditions may impact road travel and maritime activities, especially during heavier showers and rougher sea phases later in the forecast.
