Disney Just Dropped A LOT at D23 - From ‘X-Men’ to ‘Frozen 3’

Disney fans have been given a serious preview of what’s coming next, with D23 delivering major announcements across Marvel, Pixar, Disney Animation and Star Wars.

And one of the biggest surprises? The new X-Men cast is officially taking shape.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige revealed the cast of the upcoming movie, which is scheduled for May 2028. Sadie Sink will play Jean Grey, Kit Connor will take on Cyclops, Christopher Abbott is Professor X, Inde Navarrette is Rogue, Maya Boyd is Storm, while Adam Driver will play Mr. Sinister.

❄️ Anna’s getting married?!

Frozen 3 is also on the way, arriving in cinemas in November next year. The new movie picks up with Anna preparing to get married, while Disney teased a mysterious new female villain whose identity is still under wraps.

Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel also reunited to perform a new version of Frozen Heart, while Josh Gad gave fans a first taste of a brand-new Olaf song.

🚀 Ryan Gosling joins the galaxy

Fans also got their first look at Star Wars: Starfighter, starring Ryan Gosling. Meanwhile, Marvel revealed more about VisionQuest, the upcoming Disney+ spin-off from WandaVision. Paul Bettany will return as Vision, with James Spader back as Ultron.

🦸 The Incredibles are back

Pixar confirmed that Incredibles 3 is officially coming in summer 2028. This time, however, the younger Parrs are stepping into the spotlight as they sneak out to protect the city from a new villain.

And that’s not all. Coco 2 is also in development, with Miguel now a teenager and set to return to the Land of the Dead in November 2029.
