RAYE, Sombr and Troye Sivan named among TIME100 Next’s rising music stars

RAYE, Sombr, Troye Sivan, PinkPantheress, Megan Moroney, Conan Gray and Alex Warren have been named among the musicians featured on TIME’s 2026 TIME100 Next list. The annual list recognises 100 emerging figures across entertainment, sport, business, science and other fields who are making an impact and shaping what comes next.

RAYE is one of three worldwide cover stars for this year’s TIME100 Next issue, highlighting the growing recognition around her career and influence. She is also set to perform at the TIME100 Next event in New York in October, adding to what has been a major period for the British singer and songwriter.

Troye Sivan was also singled out, with fellow Australian pop star Kylie Minogue writing his tribute for the issue. Minogue praised Sivan’s development as an artist and his impact as one of the defining pop stars of the 2020s, while highlighting their shared Australian roots.

Meanwhile, fashion designer Stella McCartney contributed the tribute to Sombr, praising the young artist’s musical background and individuality. The seven musicians are part of a much wider group of emerging figures selected for the 2026 TIME100 Next, which is not ranked, with the list intended to spotlight people making an impact across their respective fields.
