Before the city wakes up, Dubai’s streets will once again belong to runners. The Dubai Marathon returns on February 1, 2026, celebrating its 25th anniversary with a sunrise race through some of the emirate’s most iconic landmarks.

First launched in 1998, the Dubai Marathon has earned a reputation as one of the world’s fastest races, thanks to its famously flat course and PB-friendly roads. Holding World Athletics Gold Label status, it continues to attract elite athletes and everyday runners chasing their best time.

Starting near Madinat Jumeirah, the 42.195km route winds along Al Sufouh Road and Jumeirah Beach Road, with the Burj Al ArabJumeirah Beach Hotel, and glimpses of the Arabian Gulf guiding runners along the way. Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa cap off the skyline views.
