The pop icon has officially reclaimed the crown as All I Want for Christmas Is You sets a new all-time record for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and she’s soaking in the moment with gratitude and a little sparkle.
As soon as the news hit, Carey rushed to Instagram to share her reaction with her devoted fanbase, affectionately known as the #Lambs. Posting a celebratory video, the singer kept it heartfelt and humble.
“Humbly taking back the torch!! 20 weeks at #1… I’m so grateful,” she wrote to her 14.9 million followers.
