Jennifer Hudson and Nicole Scherzinger to Headline World Cup Closing Ceremony

FIFA has unveiled a star-studded lineup for the 2026 World Cup closing ceremony, with Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and Laura Pausini set to perform ahead of the tournament final on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium. Hollywood star Tom Cruise will also make a special appearance, while YouTube personality IShowSpeed has been confirmed as part of the pre-match celebrations. Jennifer Hudson will perform a special rendition of the U.S. national anthem before kick-off.

The ceremony will begin 90 minutes before the final and is designed to celebrate the journey of all 48 nations that took part in the biggest FIFA World Cup in history. Produced by Balich Wonder Studio, the event aims to bring together music, culture and football before the champions are crowned, with FIFA encouraging fans to arrive early to enjoy the full experience.

The entertainment won’t stop there. FIFA has already announced a blockbuster halftime show featuring Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna and Shakira, curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. With only England, Argentina, France and Spain remaining in contention for the trophy, the final promises to be one of the biggest sporting and entertainment spectacles of the year.
