The post follows a series of mysterious red-and-black billboards featuring the words “coming soon,” which have sparked speculation that new music is on the way. Cyrus hasn’t officially announced her next album yet, but it would be the follow-up to 2025’s Something Beautiful, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
The timing is particularly significant following the recent death of Cyrus’ godmother, Dolly Parton. Cyrus has previously said that her upcoming music reflects themes of love, personal growth and transformation, and she indicated that Parton would have wanted her to channel her emotions into music.
