
Dubai International Airport (DXB) reported a historic year in 2025, handling more than 95.2 million passengers, a 3.1 % increase compared to 2024 and the highest annual international traffic ever recorded by any airport. The airport consistently hit record levels, including its busiest day, month (December), quarter and full year, while maintaining smooth operations and efficient passenger flow. Key performance figures showed strong baggage handling and short wait times at security and passport control, reflecting DXB’s operational excellence even under intense demand.
In 2025 DXB strengthened its global connectivity, serving destinations across 291 cities in 110 countries, with India, Saudi Arabia and the UK among the top markets. Airport leadership also shared that traffic is expected to approach 99.5 million in 2026, underscoring continued growth and plans to meet rising demand.
