At just 18 years old, Emirati mountaineer Fatima Abdulrahman Al Awadhi has made history by becoming the youngest and first Arab to reach the summit of Mount Vinson, Antarctica’s tallest peak at 4,892 metres. This incredible achievement marks the third major summit in her quest to conquer the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each continent.
The expedition tested her limits like never before. Battling temperatures below minus 40 degrees Celsius, powerful winds, and harsh weather conditions, Al Awadhi relied on exceptional physical strength, mental resilience, and unwavering determination to reach the top.

Her record-breaking ascent is a historic milestone for the Arab world, inspiring young adventurers across the region and showing that age and nationality are no barriers to achieving extraordinary goals.
