The actor just made history by becoming the first person to appear on top of the Las Vegas Sphere, all in the name of promoting his upcoming sports comedy drama, Marty Supreme. Yes, that glowing, jaw dropping Vegas landmark now has a Timothée Chalamet moment attached to it.

In a promo created with Cash App, the two time Oscar nominee stands confidently on the roof of the Sphere and announces, “Marty Supreme is an American film that comes out on Christmas Day 2025.” As the camera pulls back and the Sphere lights up in a bold orange glow, he caps it off with a perfectly on brand message. “Dream big!” That also happens to be the film’s tagline.

If you were wondering whether Chalamet would keep things low key for this release, the answer is absolutely not. The Marty Supreme rollout has already included table tennis tournaments, Supreme collaborations, staged Zoom calls, and even people trailing him around wearing giant ping pong balls as heads.

Chalamet recently opened up to Vogue about why he goes all in when it comes to promoting his projects. For him, it is about standing behind the work without apology. “You don’t want to risk being too declarative,” he said. “But I also don’t want to look back on life and things I’ve put out and go, ‘Oh, little old me. Hey, see the movie if you want. It is what it is.’ No.”

He added that even if the approach rubs some people the wrong way, it is worth it if someone out there feels the excitement. “At best, someone will get pulled in and go, ‘Hey, this guy really thinks this thing’s worthy.’”

With a Vegas Sphere takeover and ping pong mascots roaming around, one thing is clear. Timothée Chalamet really, really thinks Marty Supreme is worthy. And honestly, we kind of love the commitment.
