CBS has unveiled the first trailer for Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans, and it promises a major milestone season packed with returning players and celebrity involvement.
The trailer aired Dec. 17 following the Survivor season 49 finale, where Savannah Louie was crowned the winner. Host Jeff Probst confirmed that Savannah will return alongside Rizo Velovic, The White Lotus creator Mike White and Survivor legend Cirie Fields to compete for the title of sole survivor.
“It’s been 20 years for me,” Cirie said in the preview. “It’s definitely unfinished business.” This marks her fifth time competing on the series.Season 46 standout Q Burdette also appears in the trailer, bringing his trademark confidence.
“Make no mistake about it, I’m thinking about winning,” he said. “I’m ’bout to cancel everything that you can cancel.”In addition to the returning castaways, the trailer teased high-profile celebrity tie-ins.
Fans can expect a Billie Eilish-inspired twist called the “Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol,” a special segment involving Jimmy Fallon and guest appearances from Zac Brown and MrBeast.With fan-driven twists, returning favorites and unexpected celebrity moments, Survivor 50 is shaping up to be one of the franchise’s most ambitious seasons yet.
