Sharjah’s Light Village, part of the Sharjah Light Festival 2026, opened on January 29 and is extending its schedule this year to include the first few days of Ramadan, running until February 22 for a total of 25 days. The interactive destination features light installations and artworks by international artists, a children’s play area, and interactive events for visitors of all ages. The full Sharjah Light Festival will officially launch with its opening ceremony on February 3, bringing light shows and experiences across 13 locations in the emirate.

Ticket prices for Light Village vary depending on age and experience: general entry is Dh20 for adults and children above 12, and Dh10 for children aged 3–11. Immersive light experiences by Japanese artist Yasuhiro Chida are priced at Dh50 for adults and Dh25 for children, with bundle options that include both entry and immersive gallery access, and a full season pass available for Dh180 valid from January 29 to February 22.
