At this year’s Mansour Festival in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, organizers unveiled a 10-metre-tall LEGO sculpture of the beloved character Mansour, earning a new Guinness World Record for the tallest fictional LEGO figure. The build, which weighs around 8.5 tonnes, was constructed entirely from standard LEGO bricks and verified on-site by Guinness officials.
The project was a collaborative effort involving families and schools across the UAE: students were given LEGO bricks in September and returned them in October to be part of the final sculpture. Festival organisers say the achievement highlights the values of creativity, ambition, and dreaming big, and marks a continuation of the festival’s record-breaking spirit, after it previously set a world record for the largest ball pit.
