The animated hit won Best Song for “Golden,” performed by HUNTR/X, and picked up Best Animated Feature, making it a standout winner of the night.

During her acceptance speech, singer-songwriter EJAE acknowledged the creative team behind the film and reflected on her personal connection to her character, Rumi.

“Her life and journey in the movie felt deeply familiar to me,” EJAE said. “The song needed to express hope and convince her that she could rise and reach for her dreams.”

She added that the message of “Golden” extended beyond the film itself. “In many ways, it did the same for me. But most importantly, for it to give hope to so many people around the world is truly the greatest honour.”

With its fusion of K-pop culture, animation and fantasy storytelling, KPop Demon Hunters has emerged as one of Netflix’s most successful animated releases, and its growing list of accolades signals strong momentum as awards season continues.
