Dubai Police have introduced a new community fitness initiative called “Ride With Police,” giving residents the chance to cycle alongside officers at the Dubai Autodrome in Dubai Sports City. As Abdo discussed this morning on ‘Mornings with Shona & Abdo’ on 104.8 Channel 4, the free event runs every Wednesday evening throughout April, offering a safe and professional track environment for cyclists of all levels—from beginners and families to experienced riders. Participants can ride between 7pm and 10pm, but must register in advance to secure a spot.

The initiative is designed to promote healthy living while strengthening connections between the community and police. By creating a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, Dubai Police aim to encourage people to adopt cycling as part of their lifestyle, while also making law enforcement more approachable. The programme highlights the city’s broader push towards wellbeing and community engagement through accessible sporting activities.
