The Dubai Police has been praised as an international standard for contemporary law enforcement by Gustavo Henrique Rocha Bonifacio, Director of Innovation at the Military Police of São Paulo State, Brazil. Speaking at the Police Innovation and International Leadership diploma event, Bonifacio commended Dubai Police’s blend of cutting-edge technology and people-centered public service. He highlighted that the force manages to stay “intelligent and yet close to people,” emphasizing that their advanced services remain grounded in genuine, human engagement.
Bonifacio also singled out initiatives such as the Positive Spirit Council for fostering community policing, promoting tolerance, cooperation, and social cohesion. According to him, such efforts build public trust and demonstrate how law enforcement can lead with empathy, connection and innovation, positioning Dubai Police not only as a high-tech agency but as a global model for policing that serves people’s lives, not just crime statistics.
