Dubai has completed a major overhaul of its public parking charge structure, rolling out new and revised tariffs across 17 key areas of the city in 2025 as part of efforts to improve parking management and traffic flow. Under the updated system, fees vary depending on location and demand, with rates ranging from as low as Dh2 for 30 minutes in some zones to Dh36 for 24-hour parking in others. The changes also include standardised hourly limits, new zone categories, and subscription options for regular users, reflecting the different needs of residents, workers and visitors. Free parking remains available in several areas on Sundays and public holidays, and special provisions are in place for worshippers around mosques during prayer times.

Among the specific changes implemented, Al Sufouh 2 (Zone F) now has structured charges from Dh2 to Dh32 depending on duration, while 24-hour paid parking has been introduced at Gate Avenue-Al Khail with daily rates or hourly options. Paid parking has also been extended to a range of residential, commercial, and education hubs — including Dubai Outsource City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai International Academic City and Jumeirah Village Triangle, with daily maximum fees and monthly and annual subscription packages designed to suit frequent parkers. The varied tariff system aims to balance convenience with demand, helping to make parking both fairer and more efficient across the emirate.
