Dubai has approved a Dh1 billion economic support package aimed at boosting business resilience and maintaining growth, with measures set to roll out from April 1 for a period of three to six months. Announced by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative is designed to enhance economic flexibility, support companies, and help individuals and families navigate current market conditions.
The package includes a range of relief measures such as postponing government and tourism-related fees, extending customs payment deadlines, and introducing incentives to streamline residency processes and attract talent. Additional initiatives focus on improving trade flow, supporting Emirati families, and enhancing worker living conditions, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a stable and competitive global economic hub.
