Tensions within the Beckham family have taken a very public turn just before Christmas, after Brooklyn Beckham allegedly blocked his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, along with his brother Cruz, on Instagram, according to Cruz’s own social media posts. Cruz Beckham took to his Instagram Stories to dispute earlier reports that David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn, saying instead that the family “woke up blocked” by him, something he, his parents and sister Harper all discovered unexpectedly amid ongoing rumours of a rift.
The dispute appears to be part of a longer-running estrangement, with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham reportedly not attending major family events like David’s 50th birthday and other celebrations this year. Cruz’s clarification comes as fans and media have been speculating about the reasons behind the social media split, even as David and Victoria have expressed a desire to keep family relationships intact during the holiday season.
