Abu Dhabi has been named the world’s safest city for 2025, topping a list of 300 cities compiled by CEO World magazine thanks to extremely low crime rates, robust law enforcement, advanced surveillance systems, and strong community policing initiatives. The emirate scored 97.73 out of 100, edging out global contenders such as Taipei and Doha, and stands out as a secure destination for residents, expats and tourists alike due to its modern infrastructure, political stability, and proactive safety measures. UAE cities feature prominently throughout the rest of the top 20 list, reflecting a broader trend of safety leadership in the region.

Dubai also ranked highly, placing fifth on the list, while other emirates such as Ajman and Ras al-Khaimah were included among the top safest cities worldwide. Low crime, cutting-edge security technology and community-focused public safety strategies are cited as key factors that make these cities attractive not only for daily life but also for global visitors and investors. The recognition underscores the UAE’s continued commitment to safety and quality of life amid global uncertainties.
