You can now pay hourly for any rental car in the UAE!
A new regulation has been passed by The Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, that allows people to pay-by-the-hour for a car rental.
So if you're cars gone in for a mini service that'll only take a couple of hours, but you have errands to run, you can use a car for only a matter of hours, without having to break the bank!
Of course there are come regulations that need to be followed, for example, if you're only renting a car for a matter of hours, you must have a valid UAE drivers license, and the car that has been rented can not be used for more than 6 hours a day.
All cars will be fitted with trackers, so if you've said you're taking the car for an hour, and have it for 2 - They will find you, and the will charge you (Lol, read that in the "Taken" voice)
The new pay-by-the-hour car rental regulation will be in place 60 days from this publication.
