The weather now determines our working hours!

Abu Dhabi were the first emirate to implement flexible working hours depending on the weather, but now the rest of the UAE have agreed to do the same.

The Executive Director, Human Resource Policies in the UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Rescources, Aisha Al Suwaidi said that employees will be allowed to arrived to work 1 hour later than their average start time - to compensate for this however, employees must work 1 hour extra on the same day.

The average number of hours employees work in the UAE should be no less than 35 hours per week - this means if an employee starts work at 8:30am, that employee must be in the office until 3.30pm.
