Roads in Sharjah have reduced their speed limits!

Sharjah Police have reduced the speed limits on 2 roads by 20kph, and installing radars on the roads to ensure drivers abide by the new speed limits. 

First and Second street, also known as Jerdayaa street and Omar ibn al-Khattab street in Khor Fakkan have reduced their speed limits from 121kph to 101kph. 

This comes as part of Sharjah Police's new safety plan to improve and reduce road accidents, Head of Traffic and Patrols Department of Acting, Eastern Province Police Department, Major Mohammed Khalfan Al Kindi said in a statement that "Radars have been installed and tuned on the streets mentioned, in order to increase traffic control."
