Dubai's hotels are going green!

5 star hotels across Dubai are going to be home to electric car chargers, thanks to Dewa and Seven Tides International!

The installation of the car charges will be located at Anantara, The Palm Dubai resort on Palm Jumeirah, and the Movenpick Hotel, Ibn Battuta Gate, and is all part of Seven Tides’ plan to become a more sustainable company.

Abdullah bin Sulayem, the CEO of Seven Tides International said: “Dewa is pioneering the adoption of sustainable technology across its remit and has already installed a number of charging points across the emirate, but we have a chance of convincing residents of a hydrocarbon-centric economy that it is possible to consider a switch to a more ecologically-sound alternative,”

Seven Tides are teaming up with Dewa to make the move possible, after Dewa installed 12 of their own car charging stations at all of their locations.

By the end of 2015, Dewa plan to have 100 electric car charging stations working across the city, including charging spaces in a number of petrol stations, shopping malls, and tourist destinations.
