Dubai are now 3D-Printing sweets!
On Monday, Candylicious at the Dubai Mall unveiled 2 3D-printers that print edible sweets! This is the first of it's kind in the world.
Customers to Candylicious have the choice of 20 images on an iPad, or the option to design their own, the image will then be sent to the printer to be created!
The designer of the new technology, Melissa Snover spoke to The National saying: “It’s completely unique and there is nothing like this any-where.”
Snover added “All the ingredients are natural, 100 per cent vegan, gluten-free, GMO-free, halal and meet safety requirements from the Food Standard Authority and the Food and Drug Administration.”
The 3-D-printed sweets will cost Dh50 initially, with the regular price set at Dh65.
