Dog owners must now have a licence!
The new law comes in to place immediately...
Dog owners in the UAE must now own a licence for their pets.
Also in public, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
The new law was approved by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the end of last year.

Failing to buy a licence for your dog could see you fined between 10,000AED to 100,000AED.
Failing to control your dog in public could see you fined between 10,000AED to 100,000AED.
Failing to vaccinate your dog against dangerous diseases could see you fined up to 100,000AED.
