Sharjah homes to have mandatory smoke detectors!

For Safety purposes, Sharjah residents are required to have smoke detectors installed in their homes!

According to the Ministry of Interior, 54% of fire accidents that happened in UAE didn't have any fire-safety measures in place.

Sharjah Civil Defence held many awareness campaigns on the importance of installing fire safety measures in your houses.

Owners of buildings and homes have until September 30 to fit in the fire-safety measures.

While new buildings and apartments have until 2018 to install smoke detectors on the premises before the fire-safety rule is enforced across the board.

Safety First!
