He’s the first voice you hear when you wake up! Chris Birks is the cheeky but charming Morning Announcer who has been behind the microphone since he was sixteen years old.

Cake loving & West Wing watching Chris first fell in love with radio on the ride to school in his Mom’s car and fifteen years later he’s the one sharing secrets and other things he probably shouldn’t on Channel 4 @ Breakfast. His morning show is all about getting you a VIP view in to the world of celebrity and hit music.

If he wasn’t in radio then Chris would almost definitely be a teacher (he was a little bit of a teacher’s pet) and because he’s an only child he was used to getting his own way...but that’s changed since he met his wife Clare; we know who’s the boss in their relationship! They live in Dubai with their cat Monty and you can normally catch them at their favourite cafe near their house (Monty stays at home), watching the F1, Football or eating cake. Did we mention he likes cake? Cheesecake is his favourite.
